Plot summary

Spring Awakening had a Tony-winning run on Broadway, and fifteen years after it closed, the original cast and the creative team come together again. Their reunion is a concert held for one night only, and the money it raises goes to The Actors Fund. A documentary records the group's journey back to the stage, following the players as they come back together and return to the musical that brought them there. It charts the work of getting the show ready and the players' rediscovery of the material, of the beauty and the timelessness that the hit musical still holds for them.
