Did you know?!

  1. A first

Rodriguez was the first to play Wednesday Addams in the Chicago try-out run of The Addams Family, a Broadway-bound musical based on Charles Addams' cartoons. She stayed over a year, then left on March 8, 2011, replaced by Rachel Potter.

  2. Early training

Rodriguez started dance lessons when she was 13, after cheerleading in middle school. After a New York trip where she saw eight Broadway shows, she understood performers also had to sing and act, so she began singing and acting lessons.

  3. A role that slipped away

Rodriguez was cast in the planned CBS sitcom How I Met Your Dad, a spinoff of How I Met Your Mother, but exited the pilot in March 2014 and the show was never picked up.

  4. Early training

At Orange County High School of the Arts, Rodriguez took the lead in Gidget: The Musical, which Francis Ford Coppola co-wrote and directed. Students from the school starred in its tryouts in 2000, which did not succeed.

  5. Beyond film

In September 2019, Rodriguez performed her first solo show at Feinstein's/54 Below, with Ben Rauhala directing and guests such as Kathryn Gallagher, Andy Mientus and Joe Iconis.
