Plot summary
Lizzie Moore earns her living giving piano lessons at a music school, and the money goes toward a Steinway of her own. The school's Christmas fundraiser is the biggest event of its year, and Lizzie has given much of her time to planning it. Brad hears her play one afternoon and asks whether she will take on his teenage daughter as a piano pupil. Abigail has no interest in the instrument. Lizzie agrees to teach her, and lessons begin. She looks for a way to reach the girl through the music. Lessons with Abigail bring her and Brad into each other's company, and sparks begin to fly.
