Plot summary
Sam and Jess are lifelong best friends in a small Vermont town, and each is the most important person in the other's life. Jess meets Landon, who comes from out of state, and the two begin a relationship. Sam starts to fear that she is being pushed aside. Landon works for a massive corporation whose plans threaten the small-town way of life that Sam, Jess and their neighbors know. Sam is set on keeping the new relationship and the company from going any further.
