Plot summary
Sergeant Vic Mosby leads a Delta Force team into a remote part of Afghanistan to bring out an American congressman whom Taliban fighters are holding in a village. The squad's sniper, Sergeant Jake Chandler, serves as overwatch for the mission. The congressman is freed, and then a firefight breaks out as the team pulls out. Chandler stays in the village with an injured soldier, and his spotter, Private Rich, is with him. The two are separated from the squad, which withdraws without them. Back at the base, Mosby asks Lieutenant Colonel Jackson for permission to go back for the two men. Jackson instead orders the unit to recover a truckload of munitions.
