Rob Van Dam

Rob Van Dam is an American professional wrestler, born Robert Szatkowski and raised in Battle Creek, Michigan. He became a mainstream name in ECW during the late 1990s, where his acrobatic, kick-heavy style and flexibility set him apart; he feuded with Jerry Lynn and Sabu, and teamed with Sabu to win the ECW World Tag Team Championship twice. In 1998 he defeated Bam Bam Bigelow for the ECW Television Championship and kept that belt for 700 days. After ECW folded in 2001, he moved to the WWF, now WWE, and won the Hardcore, Intercontinental, European, and tag team championships. At WrestleMania 22 he was victorious in a Money in the Bank ladder match, and after that he challenged John Cena at One Night Stand, beating him for his first world championship. He later captured the TNA World Championship and in 2021 entered the WWE Hall of Fame.
