Plot summary
Emily Middleton loses her job and her rock musician boyfriend dumps her, leaving her with a non-refundable trip to Ecuador. Her mother Linda, who learns of the breakup from social media, tells her to come home, where Emily reunites with her agoraphobic brother Jeffrey. Emily persuades her to come along instead. At their hotel in Ecuador, Emily meets a man named James at the bar, and the two begin a relationship. After a night of drinking and dancing, Emily and Linda take a sightseeing day trip with him. A white van rams the Jeep, and masked men abduct the two women.
