Plot summary
In 1945, with the Second World War ending, the Australian military holds an ancient device that makes travel through time possible. The Allies want it, and the Axis powers must not get it. Lieutenant Harris is assigned to fly the device to Washington, D.C., with Reverend Mitchell, General Hackett and Major Savage aboard his Douglas C-47 transport. As the cargo's power takes hold, the laws of nature fade and a tremendous storm rises, and Harris ditches the aircraft. Rescue boats carry the survivors into a misty region full of wrecks from different eras. Mitchell claims a connection to the Philadelphia Experiment, while Harris turns to his crew's survival.
