Plot summary
A man in a metal mask runs an old man off the road and kills him, then destroys the car, and the sheriff and his men investigate the scene. On a family trip, the Rockwell family loses its way on the highway and gets a flat tire. Father Phil Rockwell goes to a convenience store to look for help, and a strange old woman there offers the family a place to stay while one of her sons repairs the car. She brings them home and introduces her sons: Plates, Brain, and the one she calls the Surgeon General. The hospitality turns out to be an ambush.
