Plot summary
Damon Vincenti works in a vineyard, where his operatic voice is discovered. A wealthy high society hostess, Kendall Hale, takes him up and helps him toward a career as a tenor. Two women stand around him: Kendall, and Juana Montes, the daughter of a Mexican bullfighter. His love for Kendall goes unreturned, and he leaves the country in misery for Mexico, where he meets Juana, a farm girl.
