Plot summary
Daphne crashes the Mystery Machine into a tree and fails her driver's test. She and Velma then win seats in a lottery that sends people into space, and the gang gathers at the launch site in Florida. On board billionaire Sly Baron's Sly Star One are Shannon Lucas, a trained astronaut, along with Zip Elvin and Colt Steelcase, both retired astronauts, the alien hunter Ridley, the football player Uvinous "U-Boat" Botango, the reporter Clark Sparkman and a robot called H.A.M. Fred teams up with Zip and Colt. In space, a mysterious alien begins damaging the ship, and the crew is forced to land at Sly's resort on the far side of the Moon, where Sly's twin brother Hudson and a group of Sly Bots are waiting. Shaggy and Scooby-Doo go looking for food.
