Victor Kilian
Biography
Victor Kilian was an American actor who entered entertainment at 18 by joining a vaudeville company. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he performed in Broadway plays from the mid-1920s and had made his motion picture debut by the end of that decade. For the next 20 years he supported himself as a character actor, mostly in smaller and secondary parts, and was often cast as a villain, with films that included The Adventures of Tom Sawyer (1938). During the 1970s he took guest roles on television series, among them an episode of All in the Family in 1979. He was best known for playing Grandpa Larkin, also known as the Fernwood Flasher, in the 1976 soap opera spoof Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman. He died in 1979.
