Steven Williams

Steven Williams is an American actor who was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and largely grew up in Chicago. He made his acting debut in Cooley High (1975) and went on to appear in films such as The Blues Brothers (1980), Twilight Zone: The Movie (1983) and Missing in Action 2: The Beginning (1985). On television he played Lieutenant Jefferson Burnett on The Equalizer, then Captain Adam Fuller on 21 Jump Street from 1987 to 1991, and later Det. August Brooks on L.A. Heat. He recurred as X on The X-Files, earning a Screen Actors Guild nomination for ensemble work in 1997, and played Russell Linc Lincoln in the comedy Linc's, which brought him an NAACP Image Award nomination in 2000. He also portrayed Rufus Turner in Supernatural and Quentin in The Chi.
