Plot summary
In a small American mining town, Power works at the mine and loves drums, but he has no musical skill, and the whole town ridicules him as an air drummer. He wants to become the greatest air drummer in the world. His father leads the miners' union, and he calls a strike at the mine. In his search he discovers an underground subculture of air drummers, and they might be the key to changing the world. Ethan Gold's original songs share the soundtrack with hits by Rush, Mr. Mister, Judas Priest, Phil Collins, the Dazz Band, Loverboy, Bow Wow Wow and Woody Guthrie.
