Plot summary
After three years in prison, Max Hopper comes out with a job already arranged: taking a new computer chip out of the IQ Industries headquarters. His first try does not work. He goes back in a police uniform while the board is in an emergency meeting, and a fire breaks out in the building. Hopper treats the fire as a chance to finish what he came for and stays inside, but the flames and the people who need help keep pulling him away from the chip. Only the company owner, his wife, who has just filed for divorce, and a handful of employees remain in the building with him.
