Lori Petty

Lori Petty, an American actress who also directs and writes for the screen, got her start in television as Skunk on the soap opera All My Children in 1985. Guest spots on series including Miami Vice and Freddy's Nightmares followed before her film debut in Cadillac Man (1990). She became known for films including Point Break (1991), A League of Their Own (1992), Free Willy (1993), The Glass Shield (1994), In the Army Now (1994) and the title part in Tank Girl (1995). She went on to appear in independent films such as Prey for Rock & Roll (2003), voiced Livewire in Superman: The Animated Series, and made her directing debut with Horrible Accident in 2001. Her 2008 film The Poker House, which she wrote and directed, earned awards at the Los Angeles Film Festival. She later played Lolly Whitehill on Orange Is the New Black, sharing Screen Actors Guild ensemble awards in 2016 and 2017.
