Steven Culp

Steven Culp is an American actor born in La Jolla, California, who studied English literature at the College of William and Mary and earned an M.F.A. from Brandeis University before turning to screen work. One of his earliest parts was the reporter Robert Campbell in Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993), and he played the father in James and the Giant Peach (1996). He is known for recurring television roles, among them CIA agent Clayton Webb on JAG from 1997 to 2004 and Major Hayes on Star Trek: Enterprise, and he played Speaker Jeff Haffley on The West Wing from 2003 to 2005. He portrayed Robert F. Kennedy twice, in Norma Jean & Marilyn (1996) and the political thriller Thirteen Days (2000). He also appeared as Rex Van de Kamp on Desperate Housewives and took the role of Peter Drummond, the antagonist, in How to Make a Monster, a television movie. He later guest-starred on many series.
