Plot summary
A former master gunnery sergeant in Marine Corps Force Recon, Scott serves on the selection cadre for Delta Force, where he meets the recruit Curtis and Sergeant Jacqueline Black, a knife fighting instructor. A clandestine operation pulls him into the search for Laura Newton, the daughter of the President, who has gone missing. Scott and Curtis visit the beach house of one of her professors, said to have a relationship with her, and find no sign of either of them. A lead takes them to a bar where young women are recruited into prostitution, and then to a brothel that channels some of them into an international sex trade. The madam there provides a number for a pay phone, and the team traces it to Tariq Asani, a Lebanese national serving time in a federal prison.
