Shaun Dingwall

A British actor born in London, Shaun Dingwall has worked across television, film, and theater. He was a student at the Central School of Speech and Drama. Early television work included the ITV police serials Touching Evil from 1997 to 1999 and a role in Soldier Soldier. He played Pete Tyler in Doctor Who, a part he returned to in later episodes, and he appeared as Scipio Africanus in the docu-drama Hannibal (2006). His film credits include On a Clear Day (2005), Hush (2008), and Goodbye Christopher Robin (2017), in which he played Alfred Brockwell. The Guardian praised his performance in Responsible Child (2019). Other television roles include Charles II: The Power and the Passion, Survivors, Rock & Chips, Above Suspicion, and Maigret. On stage, he has appeared in London's West End and made his Royal Shakespeare Company debut in Cowbois, and he was an executive producer on Inland (2022).
