Jeremy Bulloch
Biography
Jeremy Bulloch was an English actor who spent six decades on screen and was the first actor to wear the Boba Fett costume in the Star Wars films. Born in Market Harborough, he trained at the Corona Academy theater school in London, started acting as a child, and made his first professional appearance in a commercial at twelve, followed by early parts in Summer Holiday and The Devil's Agent. He played Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back (1980) and Return of the Jedi (1983), and returned to the franchise as Captain Colton in Revenge of the Sith (2005). His other work took in British television roles in Doctor Who, Robin of Sherwood and the sitcom Agony, minor parts in three James Bond films, and an appearance in the documentary Elstree 1976 (2015).

First role
Bulloch was twelve years old when he made his first professional appearance, which was in a commercial for a breakfast cereal.
Getting ready for a role
Bulloch drew on Clint Eastwood's the Man with No Name while portraying Fett. In A Fistful of Dollars, Eastwood's character and Fett both cradle a gun ready to shoot, wear similar capes and move in slow motion.
A role that slipped away
Bulloch was initially going to play Fett in the Cloud City scene where the character shoots at Skywalker, but because nobody was available for the part, he got changed into the Imperial Officer's outfit.
Behind the camera
In 2004, Bulloch released a limited edition memoir called Flying Solo. It mixes funny stories about his life and career with tales from the convention circuit.
