Plot summary
The UK Garrison, a Star Wars costuming group with the 501st designation, is followed across the United Kingdom as it attends fundraising events. These range from international film premieres to visits to children's hospitals. The documentary shows the effect members have on the fans they meet and challenges the view that costumers are simply nerds or geeks. It introduces people from many occupations and backgrounds who join the group. For them, the costumed identity is a genuine part of who they are.
