Ian James Corlett

Biography

Ian James Corlett is a Canadian voice actor and author whose career started in 1984. Born in Burnaby, he first worked in music, programming drum tracks and assisting with computer sequences on Queensrÿche's Operation: Mindcrime. He went on to voice characters in several animated series produced or dubbed in Canada, among them Mega Man in the Mega Man series, Cheetor in Beast Wars: Transformers, Bob in ReBoot, Charger in NASCAR Racers, and Baby Taz in Baby Looney Tunes. From 1996 to 1997 he was the first English voice for adult Goku in Dragon Ball Z's Ocean dub. Later anime roles include Miroku in Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon and Master Roshi in Dragon Ball Z. He also voiced Andy Larkin in What's with Andy? and Ransome, a clown, in the video game Thimbleweed Park. With Terry Klassen he co-owned a company that rewrote international shows, and he created two animated series, Yvon of the Yukon and Being Ian.
