Chantal Strand

Biography

Chantal Strand, born in Vancouver, is a Canadian performer who built her career mainly as a voice actress in animation, anime and video games, after starting out as a child doing stunts. Her stunt work began with Look Who's Talking Now, and she also played Holly in The Charlie Horse Music Pizza. She gave voice to young girl characters across the Barbie films made between 2001 and 2009, and played Tammy in the Air Bud sequels Seventh Inning Fetch (2002) and Spikes Back (2003). Other credits include Sarah's sister in Life-Size (2000), Cassie in Dragon Tales, Molly O in Generation O! and Lacus Clyne in Gundam SEED and Gundam SEED Destiny. She was nominated for a Leo Award in 2002 for her supporting work in a feature length drama, and that year received honors for contributing to the Emmy winning The New Adventures of Madeline. She voiced Diamond Tiara and Spoiled Rich on My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic.
