Plot summary
The Day of the Departed is a holiday in Ninjago for remembering ancestors and friends. The ninja go their separate ways to spend it with family. Cole is still a ghost, and at the Ninjago History Museum he sees that he is starting to fade. He finds the Yin Blade and sets out for the floating Temple of Airjitzu, meaning to face Master Yang. There he uses the blade by accident and a portal to the Departed Realm opens, letting the spirits of Samukai, Kozu, Cryptor, Chen and Morro through. The spirits take over mannequins in the museum.
