Corey Parker

Corey Parker was an American actor whose work took in theater, television and film. Raised in New York City, he began training at 14 with Sandra Seacat and Susan Batson, graduated with honors from the High School of Performing Arts in Manhattan and attended New York University on a full scholarship, and later studied with Uta Hagen, Herbert Berghof, Ivana Chubbuck and Lesly Kahn. He appeared as a star or co-star on the major broadcast and cable networks and worked for most of the major film studios. He headlined his own television series in both four-camera sitcom and single-camera drama formats, collaborating with James Burrows, Scott Winant and Edward Zwick. On stage he belonged to the Actors Studio and the Ensemble Studio Theater, worked with the Steppenwolf Theater Company and Joseph Papp at the Public Theater, and performed in New York and at the Mark Taper in Los Angeles. He died in 2026.
