Plot summary
At Tiverton College, psychology professor Gordon Buchanan lectures on animism in honor of Dr. Jonas Wilson. Wilson's estate sale draws his student Amy, who buys a trunk for the school play and sees a red cloak there, and visions of murders come with it. At rehearsal, Eddie puts the cloak on and fights another actor with a sword, losing his part. Amy retreats with the cloak, and one night she wakes compelled to fashion it into a dress.
