Carole Davis
Biography
Carole Davis is an English-American actress, singer and writer who was born in London and began her screen career in James Cameron's horror film Piranha II: The Spawning (1982). She went on to appear in the comedy The Flamingo Kid (1984), and she is best known for Mannequin (1987), in which she played the vengeful ex-girlfriend Roxie Shield, a film critics widely panned that later became a cult classic. Her other films include The Shrimp on the Barbie (1990), If Looks Could Kill (1991) and The Rapture (1991), and she has made guest appearances on shows such as The A-Team, Star Trek: Voyager, Sex and the City and Angel. Signed to Warner Bros. Records in 1989, she released the Nile Rodgers-produced album Heart of Gold, and she co-wrote Prince's Slow Love for the Grammy-nominated album Sign o' the Times. She is also a novelist, the author of The Diary of Jinky.
