Biography
Carly Pope is a Canadian actress who began as a trained dancer before taking up theater in high school, appearing in plays such as The Odd Couple and A Midsummer Night's Dream. Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, she started her screen career with small parts in films including Disturbing Behavior and Snow Day, then landed the role of Sam McPherson on the WB comedy-drama Popular from 1999 to 2001. In 2000 Teen People named her one of its 25 Hottest Stars Under 25. Her screen work includes The Glass House (2001), Orange County (2002), Itty Bitty Titty Committee (2007), and the television film Double Holiday (2019). On television she starred in The Collector from 2004 to 2005, joined the main cast of Outlaw in 2010, played Tara Messer on Suits from 2016 to 2017, and appeared on Arrow from 2016 to 2017. She also co-produced the documentary Highway of Tears.
