Biography
Benjamin Walker is an actor from the United States who works in theater, film, television, and stand-up comedy. He grew up in Cartersville, Georgia, and finished the Juilliard School's actor training program in 2004. He played Andrew Jackson in Bloody Bloody Andrew Jackson, which reached Broadway in 2010, and later took stage roles including Brick in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Patrick Bateman in American Psycho in 2016, and Chris Keller in the 2019 All My Sons revival, which earned him a Tony nomination as a featured actor in a play. His best known film role is the title part in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter (2012), and he also appeared in The War Boys (2009), Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight (2013), In the Heart of the Sea and Flags of Our Fathers. On television he played Erik Gelden in Jessica Jones and plays Gil-galad in The Rings of Power.
