Plot summary
Kyle Snowden returned from Marine service unable to handle a firearm after a shooting on the battlefield, and he now works in Child Protective Services in a rural American state. His wife has left, so he raises his daughter, Angel, on his own. His stepfather is Congressman Sam Nelson. Eagan Raize leads a band of mercenaries with a grudge against Nelson: his father, Luther, was Nelson's business partner and served eighteen years in prison in a fraud case, and Eagan holds Nelson responsible for taking over the business. Eagan's group plants a bomb at Nelson's store while Kyle, Angel and other people are inside, and takes them hostage, aiming to ruin Nelson in front of the town.
