Plot summary
A virus that began in a prison in southern England swept across Britain, turning people into zombies. The infected keep some human traits: they can fight back and use weapons. The South East of England is sealed off behind fortified borders. Intelligence learns that Dr. Julian Raynes, the scientist behind the outbreak, is alive in London, and that getting him out is the best chance of a cure. A joint British and American special forces squad, including Captain Stanton, Lieutenant Perez, Paige and Rodrigo, is sent into the city.
