Plot summary

Motley Adams is a teenager who sees his older brother killed by Jed Haywood, a ruthless crime lord in the South. Motley goes on the run, and Boon, a hitman and Haywood's best friend, is tasked with hunting the boy down as a witness to the killing. Boon has ten hours to bring Motley in and still reach a cemetery, where a funeral is being held that day. Rival henchmen and F.B.I. agents are hunting the teenager as well. Boon has to find him first, and the two men spend a single day in a game of cat and mouse.
