Plot summary
James Gabriel's son, Bobby, is dying, and the hospital bills for the boy's stay keep growing past anything Gabriel can pay. To raise the money, Gabriel signs a contract that sells his organs for transplant after his death, with the payment meant to cover the boy's care. The doctors on the other side of the deal intend to collect later. When Gabriel is advised that they want to claim his organs immediately instead of waiting, he breaks off the agreement and goes on the run.
