Plot summary
Alejandro is an aspiring toy designer who came from El Salvador and lives in Bushwick, New York City. He wants to design toys at Hasbro, and the company rejects his internship application. He works as an archivist at FreezeCorp, where artists are frozen, and monitors the body and work of Bobby, who painted large-scale portraits of eggs. He accidentally unplugs the backup generator of the cryogenic chamber, and he is fired. He faces deportation and has thirty days to find a sponsor for his work visa. Bobby's wife Elizabeth, an art critic, hires him as her assistant.
