Plot summary
Frank Walsh hunts rare and dangerous species for zoos. In Brazil he captures a white jaguar, a rare animal he expects to sell to a zoo for a fortune, and books a container ship to take it and other creatures to the United States. U.S. Marshals need the same vessel to move Richard Loffler, a political assassin and former special forces operative, who cannot fly because he has seizures tied to air pressure. Dr. Ellen Taylor, a Navy lieutenant, oversees his medical care and clashes with Walsh, whom she considers arrogant and dishonest. Two days out, Loffler breaks free and releases venomous snakes and other animals to attack the crew.
