Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- The film's title comes from the Port Authority Bus Terminal, the New York arrival point for the character Paul; Leyna Bloom said the setting mirrored her own journey from the Midwest to the station at seventeen.
- Writer-director Danielle Lessovitz said the bus terminal is often a place of congregation and work for queer women of color in New York, and its primary function gives the film a sense of the transient.
