Plot summary
Me wants to write action films, but his agent Bryan needs a romantic comedy first. Because his mother left when he was a child, he keeps love at a distance, and his friends Lyle, Samson and Mallory share that skepticism, while Scott believes in romance. At a charity event Me meets Her and they fall into easy banter, until Stuffy, her boyfriend, appears and takes her away. He cannot get her out of his head, and when nothing else works he steals the guest book to find her name. His granddad urges him to keep searching, so Me and Scott work the charity circuit until he runs into Her again and she agrees to a friend date.
