First role
Morrison was cast in the Broadway adaptation of Footloose in 1999 after the choreographer hired for the Late Show parody boy band Fresh Step, which he performed in while at NYU, helped him get the part.
A change of course
In 2001, Morrison was brought into the boy band LMNT, which changed it from a trio to a quartet. After a year he left and Jonas Persch took his place, before the group made its only album.
Early training
Morrison spent two years studying at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, then left his studies to take a role in the Broadway adaptation of Footloose.
Behind the camera
Morrison made his directorial debut with the ninth episode of the third season of Glee, where he played Schuester, a high school Spanish teacher who later taught History and worked to restore the school's glee club.
A role that slipped away
Morrison was fired from So You Think You Can Dance in May 2022 and replaced by Leah Remini, with his final episode airing on June 8.
