Plot summary
The semester is going badly for Jack and Montgomery, who share a dorm room. Montgomery cannot get anywhere with Ashley, the girl he likes, and Jack has been pushed out socially since a football tradition went wrong. Bullies, among them Lizzy, a former friend of theirs, single the two of them out. One evening they come across a tin of M.I.N.T.S., an experimental drug advertised as a relaxing high. The drug brings hallucinations, often violent ones, and eating is the only thing that stops them. They have already ordered a pizza, so they set off through the dorm to collect it from Snackatron 3000, the delivery robot, and to stay clear of the resident advisor group that Blake runs.
