Plot summary
Three years after graduation, Beca produces tracks for the rapper Pimp-Lo, and when he and her boss want one without her backup vocals, she quits. She shares an apartment in New York with Fat Amy and Chloe, who brings word of a Barden reunion. Emily, now leading the current Bellas, has invited the alumnae to watch rather than sing, and the group leaves disappointed. At a bar, Chloe wishes out loud that they could sing together again, and Aubrey mentions a USO tour her father can arrange where the best act opens for DJ Khaled. They all sign on except Stacie, eight months pregnant. In Spain, soldiers Chicago and Zeke greet them, the other acts play instruments, and Fat Amy finds a stuffed bunny from her childhood and runs into Fergus, her estranged father.
