Big break
Regner's most prominent part has been Ashley in the Pitch Perfect film series. An open-call audition in Baton Rouge got her the role, and a lot of the film and its sequel were shot there and at Louisiana State University.
Beyond film
In April 2018, Regner became a mezzo in DCappella, a new a cappella group from Disney Music Group. Fall Out Boy's "Immortals," taken from the film Big Hero 6, was the group's first single.
