Plot summary
Mr. Graham works as a deputy under manager at a bank in London's West End, and he is dissatisfied with his boring life. He becomes involved with Lady Britt Dorset, an aristocrat who spends freely, and the two begin an affair. He draws Lord Nicholas Dorset, her husband, into the plan to take money from the bank. The robbery is set for a day when the manager is away playing golf. Lord Dorset's part is to arrive as a bank inspector and exchange counterfeit notes for the bank's money.
