Decades later, a NATO rapid reaction force is deployed to Eastern Europe, where something is killing villagers and soldiers, and the dead SS troops rise again. Lena hunts Nazi war criminals. She has followed the former SS Gruppenführer Neurath to Paraguay, and after searching his apartment she carries a map, documents about the British engineer Francis Hunt and a signet ring with a hidden key.
