Plot summary
Joseph Young, a Mormon missionary, is assigned with his partner to Los Angeles, where the reception is hostile and unenthusiastic. At the door of porn director Maxxx Orbison, guards are sent to remove them, and Joe defeats them singlehandedly with martial arts. Orbison, bored by the star of his current project, offers Joe the title role in his pornographic superhero film for $20,000, enough to pay for the temple wedding in Utah his fiancée Lisa wants. Joe's beliefs leave him torn, and a stand-in would perform the explicit close-ups, but he accepts. On set he befriends Ben Chapleski, an MIT alumnus who plays the sidekick Choda Boy and who has built a working Orgazmorator, a ray gun that makes anyone it hits climax.

- Half of the budget for Orgazmo came from a Japanese porn company, Kuki, which put up the money so it could feature its own performers in mainstream Western media.
- The MPAA rated Orgazmo NC-17, which led to a very limited US release, and when Parker and Stone tried to negotiate what to delete from the final print, the MPAA would not give them specific notes.
- Orgazmo has been called a cult film, mostly by fans of South Park, and its reception and its MPAA rating are discussed in the 2006 documentary This Film Is Not Yet Rated.
