Plot summary
After hibernation, Boog the grizzly bear plans the annual guys' trip with his best friend Elliot, but Elliot has started a family with Giselle and has three children, and the other animals also choose time with their families. Boog sets off by himself with his plush toy, Dinkleman, and ends up at the Maslova Family Circus, a Russian traveling show. There he meets Doug, a scruffy, mean circus grizzly who performs on the sidelines and wants recognition as ruler of the wildlife, and Doug talks him into swapping places. Boog also meets Alistair, Doug's Argentine camelid friend, and Ursa, a Russian-born female grizzly who can walk a tightrope, juggle and dance, and who was annoyed by Doug's attitude. Boog tries to convince Ursa that he is not Doug.
