Plot summary

Asuka Island holds the Seven-Star Sword, called the most valuable blade in the world and said to curse whoever takes it. The Straw Hat Pirates stop there, and when they return to the Going Merry, Usopp reports that Zoro left his watch without a word. Marines chase the ship from the port, so the crew anchors at a lake beside a village whose people keep the sword sealed. That village is then attacked by a Marine force led by three swordsmen, and Zoro is one of them. The crew cannot understand why he abandoned them. Hunting for him, they meet Maya, a young priestess.
