Plot summary
Lord Southmere, a King's Messenger, leaves China with a microfilm bearing the formula for Lotus X, and Chinese spies follow him to London. Their orders are to take the microfilm from him. He takes refuge in the Natural History Museum and slips the microfilm among the bones of a dinosaur skeleton, but the spies come in after him. He asks his former nanny, Hettie, to get the film back before they find it. Hettie and her friend Emily, another nanny, work out a plan for a group of nannies to hunt for the microfilm.
