Plot summary
Kevin Gibbons works at a Chicago advertising firm, where his pitch for Reebok is turned down and his colleague Jackie later presents the same idea as her own and gets it approved. Riding the L train home, he meets Abbey, and the two find they share an interest in the Chicago Cubs and Al Green. Kevin lets her leave without learning her name, then tries to find her by putting up posters around town addressed to the L-Train Girl. The first calls are not from Abbey. Brady Frances, a reporter and an old classmate who still holds a grudge, is assigned to interview Kevin about the search, and his article brings a flood of calls. Kevin's roommates Rod, Eric and Randy suggest dating the callers to weed out the time wasters.

- Midway through the shoot, NSYNC went back into the studio, so Lance Bass and Joey Fatone filmed in Toronto during the week and flew to Orlando on weekends to work with the band.
