Plot summary
Jackie Cruz is President and CEO of Air Cruz, the major airline her demanding father founded. The board watches her closely, her father's respect is hard to win, and her focus on the job has left her personal life isolated. She runs the company tightly and enforces an anti-fraternization policy that covers every tier of the staff. Daniel Blanchflower, a British attorney, joins Air Cruz as its new legal counsel after moving to the United States for complicated family obligations. A high-stakes litigation case assigns him to work alongside Jackie, and the difference in their standing at the company does not stop the professional chemistry that builds between them. Their closeness puts pressure on the boundary Jackie herself set.
