Nora Roberts' Carolina Moon (2007) on Netflix

Plot summary

Tory Bodeen comes back to her Carolina hometown after ten years away, purchases a house from a friend's relatives and opens a store. Her old circle greets her warmly: her cousin Wade Mooney, Hope's twin sister Faith, and Cade Lavelle, who finds his boyhood crush on her alive again. Cade's mother Margaret is set against the match. Tory has carried a gift since childhood, the power to sense evil and catch fragments of what happened, and it draws her back to the murder of her best friend Hope, Cade's sister, which was never solved. Her father Han, an abusive religious fanatic and ex-convict, remains the prime suspect, while her mother Sari holds that her husband is decent and that Tory's visions make her wicked.
